Design by Dae is the furniture shop of Sabrina Bonventre — a small, personally chosen collection of high-end designer furniture, vintage and contemporary, offered one piece at a time.

The premise is simple: most furniture shopping is a compromise between what you can see in person and what you can actually get. This shop is the third option — pieces good enough to buy sight unseen, because someone with an opinion already saw them, sat in them, and turned down everything that didn't measure up.

Every listing is photographed as the piece actually is, priced as marked, and described honestly — including the wear. There is one of each. When a piece sells, it comes down, and the search for the next one continues.
